Podunk Friday

I've posted two albums from MACC of the MACC Children's Band here. One contains pictures from a rehearsal and the performance during Friday night's MACC Opry. The second album has pictures from Saturday morning's performance as well as the evening MACC Opry. The performance level of these kids was exceptional. As Darrel said from the stage, we have nothing to fear about the future of Saturday at MACC (Musicians Against Childhood Cancer) had it all - great performances, hot weather, a little rain

let me first say truly appreciate the capitalistic ferocity of one mr. kid rock. my man has the same song playing across all genres of popular music right now. with perhaps the exception of classic rock where they are playing the two songs he samples, sweet home alabama by lynyrd skynyrd and werewolves of london by warren zevon. im tired of hearing it. just like i am with the three other popular songs radio plays every fifteen minutes. but this damn kid rock song is played every fifteen

Its way late and I shouldnt even be up as we have a very busy day heading out with close buddies to see The Police play at PNC Art Center in Jersey. Naturally, Im amped to see Sting, Copeland and Summers rock the stage again a year removed from a dope concert at MSG exactly a year ago during their 30-year reunion tour.
